This Privacy Policy explains how Akshay Kalekar ("we", "us", or "our"), developer of the OwnR mobile application ("OwnR" or "App"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related web services.

2. Information We Collect
A. Account Credentials
When you create an account or sign in to OwnR, we collect your email address and full name to manage your authentication, profile settings, and inventory backup across devices.
B. Inventory & Purchase Details
To calculate item lifecycles and cost-per-day metrics, you may input item names, purchase prices, purchase dates, warranty expiration dates, storage locations, categories, and item statuses (Active, Broken, Not In Use).
C. User-Uploaded Files & Media
OwnR allows you to upload receipt photos, product images, and PDF warranty documents. Photos and files are uploaded securely to our encrypted cloud storage solely for rendering inside your personal item vault. We never share or sell your photos or documents.
D. Device Camera & Storage Permissions
The app requests camera and media storage permissions only when you explicitly capture product images or select receipt PDFs. Camera access is never active in the background.
3. How Your Information Is Used
- To compute Cost-Per-Day, warranty countdowns, and maintenance timelines for your personal inventory.
- To synchronize your belongings securely across your mobile devices.
- To display user profile details in your App Settings screen.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or device data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
4. Data Security & Encryption
All data transmitted between the OwnR app and our server infrastructure is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.3 protocol. User files and documents are stored in private cloud storage with strict access control policies.
5. Account & Data Deletion Rights
In accordance with Google Play's User Data Policy, you have the right to request full permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
